Housekeeping Cabin Rentals in Ontario's Sunset Country
Ideal for the independent fishing party, housekeeping cabins provide you with clean and comfortable accommodations while allowing for maximum flexibility when fishing. You do all your own cooking so if the fish are biting, you don't have to worry about coming in off the lake to make a scheduled meal time. Housekeeping packages are often geared to families looking for an economical, fun-filled vacation. You rent the cabin for a week, bring your own groceries and make your plans according the the pace of activity you'r elooking for. Fill the day with a wide variety of planned activities or just veg out along the lakeshore. You have a variety of access options to choose from. You can drive to resorts offering housekeeping cabins, fly into a remote outpost or lodge or boat-in to a secluded island resort and rent a cabin.
The majority of resorts and lodges in Ontario's Sunset Country offer their guests a housekeeping package plan. Rates are often reduced slightly in July or August when the demand by anglers weakens slightly. Many facilities offer specialized family packages that are very affordable. Along with your cabin, you can also rent a boat and motor for pleasure boating or fishing. Most resorts and lodges offer amenities such as playgrounds for children or recreational activities such as volleyball and even tennis courts.
