Wabigoon, Ontario is located east of Dryden on Highway 17 on the shores of Wabigoon Lake. Wabigoon Lake is connected to many more lakes including Butler, Olsen, Larson, Paulsen and Dinorwic. Walleye, northern pike, muskie, smallmouth bass and perch are found in Wabigoon Lake, and lake trout is found in nearby lakes.

Restaurants and groceries are available in town. A short 15 minute drive will take you into the City of Dryden, where you can do more than fishing or hunting. There are 2 golf courses, many churches, a theatre, drive-in theatre, bowling alley, museum, swimming beaches and great shopping.
