Mine Centre is 45 miles east of Fort Frances, Ontario on Highway 11. Turtle Lake is north of Mine Centre and Bad Vermilion Lake is to the south. Bad Vermillion Lake is approximately 7 miles long and is a very deep and clear lake. The lake has huge and tasty lake trout, walleye, northerns and all types of bass. Turtle Lake is right across the highway and is well know for its great walleyes and huge northerns.
