Kenora is situated on the north end of Lake of the Woods. There are plenty of accommodations to choose from. On Lake of the Woods, you can choose between drive-in resorts or boat-in island lodges. Full-service American Plan packages are available for those that like to be pampered, or for those who like to be on their own schedule and want to do their own cooking, you can rent a housekeeping cottage. Kenora is also a starting off point for many of the fly-in outpost cabins. You can fly to lakes such as Brown Bear, Lount, Nance, Norse, Roger, Scenic, Snowshoe, Trapline and Walleye. You won't want to miss the Lake of the Woods Museum, the Heritage Murals that cover many of the city's building walls, Husky the Muskie, the Railway Museum and the Harbourfront.
